Mastitis control in Uruguay must be improved to avoid the losses that this situation brings about to the Milk Production System. (Gianneechini et al, 2002).The objective of this research was to study the inflammatory response of the udder with respect to the colonization by different types of microorganisms, to the parity, stage of lactation and the quarter position.
