This study investigated the types of light pollution caused by architectural lighting and the installation environment through a survey of the current status of architectural lighting in Korea. In addition, the proper use of architectural lighting was analyzed using lighting environment simulation software. Based on these data, the causes of light pollution were tested by simulating the luminance of architectural lighting, and there was a study on how to install lighting to reduce light pollution. Lastly, based on the results derived in the previous steps, a proper installation method for architectural lighting for buildings and cautions were derived and suggested.
