Solid-state RF generators offer a great deal of control over the heating pattern within an oven cavity. This applies to both single, continuous food loads as well as those comprised of multiple components, often with different physical properties. In this paper, we present simulated and experimental results which demonstrate the targeting of specific components using frequency and phase manipulation.
