摘要

The social, economical and technological environments are rapidly changing by creating opportunitiesas well as threats for educational systems. Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) have theresponsibility to provide high quality educational experience to their students in order to meet therequirements in this continuously changing and competitive environment. Lecturers in the HEIstherefore need to be well educated and use of effective teaching and learning (T&L) process to makethe quality graduates that the society expects. Usage of ICT is now becoming a critical success factorfor the effective T&L process in the University education. Today, organizations seek people who canlead their organizations while achieving organizational objectives and customer expectations. Throughthe Management Education, university students gain knowledge, skills and attitudes that need to facethe challenges successfully in this business world and to meet requirements of the organizations.Therefore, this research is based on the study, the usage of ICT by the university lecturers in theManagement Education in Sri Lanka and to make recommendations for the effective T&L process ofuniversity education. For this study, the researchers have selected the Faculty of ManagementStudies and Commerce (FMSC), University of Sri Jayewardenepura which is the pioneer in providingcourses of study in the Management field in the government University system in Sri Lanka.
