摘要

This paper proposes a surface crack detection method in concrete structures using image processing. Although many alternative methods using image processing have been suggested, non-crack parts are frequently detected as cracks, which make it difficult to obtain sufficiently accurate results. The proposed crack detection algorithm uses additional noise filtering steps after using the noise filtering proposed by the existing study. Finally, experimental results of the algorithm proposed by this study show cracks more clearly and indicate more effective noise removal.
