Polluted indoor air quality from chemical substances, which may cause a hazardous influence on human being such as Sick House Syndrome (SHS), has become a serious problem in our daily life. One of the main sources of these chemical substances is furniture. In this report, we made Low-emission furniture installed in the consultation room of SHS patients. To select the furniture materials we measured emission rate from test pieces by small chamber method. And we evaluated the emission rate from the whole body of finished furnitures by the large chamber method.
