In this study for the first time there were registered and investigated the effects accompanying the interaction with humantooth enamel of YAG: Er laser radiation at energy density below the enamel removal threshold. A comparative researchof efficiency of removal of hard tissues of human tooth by YAG: Er and YSGG: Cr, Er laser radiation was carried out.There was investigated the influence of duration and structure of the YSGG: Cr, Er laser pulse on efficiency of laserremoval of human tooth enamel and dentine. The most effective for destruction of tooth hard tissues appeared the pulsewith general duration of about 2 millisecond, consisting of equidistant sequence of spikes, while the duration of eachspike was about 500 nanoseconds.
