In the study the size distribution analysis confirmed that after forming micelles by adding SDS of anionic surfactant higher than CMC to calcium solution, the micelles aggregates could be madden by adsorption or binding of calcium ions on micelle surface. Also, the aggregates were rejected almost perfectly by ceramic MF membrane, because the size of aggregates was much larger than pore size of our membrane. Therefore, rejection rates of calcium were higher than 99.98 %, because of removal of the micelle aggregates by MF at our all TMP conditions. Then, the higher TMP trended to increase the resistance of membrane fouling, and to decrease dimensionless permeate flux the more dramatically in the range of our experiments.
