摘要

Knowledge is a critical organizational resource in educational institutions that is recognized as a key intangible resource. Nowadays the success of organizations depends on knowledge management initiatives. The aim of this descriptive research is to investigate the critical success factors for designing and implementing a knowledge management system at an educational System. In this study 150 managers and experts of the Bushehr province educational system as an organization were selected to form the statistical sample. The data were analyzed according to the research hypothesises, with using methods of descriptive and inferential statistics. Based on the literature review we developed a model for implementation of knowledge management at an educational system. The model identifies six critical success factors for implementation of knowledge management: top management support, organizational shared vision, strategic alignment, information systems to support KM, knowledge transfer capability, and Collaboration and communication which drivers of KM implementation at the educational System.
