摘要

Golpaygan Faculty (University) of Engineering was the first university to introduce a Co-operative program into the undergraduate education system in Iran. In 2000, one of the most distinguished and prestigious universities in Iran, Sharif University of Technology, and one of Iran's most celebrated businesses, the car manufacturer SAIPA, under the supervision and with the authorization of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology decided to launch a new program in engineering education. The students have the opportunity of being lectured by best available lecturers in the country and of experiencing how engineering concepts work in the real-world. This experience enables them to become more effective engineers. The first graduates in 2005 began their professional lives as engineers in different industrial sectors and have earned considerable respect and recognition. They have proven their ability and professionalism and in doing so have proven that our program was a success.
