The present paper shows the design and development the On-line measure system for blood urea concentration during dialysis treatment, using non-invasive technical by employ the optical sensing in the visible range. Previous results obtained in Military Hospital Centre in Mexico D.F., displayed experimental evidence of a clear correlation between blood urea contents and optical absorbance in the red region obtained through the arterial line in hemodialysis machine. The principals factors in Hemodialisys treatment adjustment, is to provide the best condition in dialyzed to patient, this condition depends of multiple factors, between which the vascular access recirculation; is very important; the recirculation is defined as blood passage the venous line (dialyzed) to the arterial line. The most frequent cause of this phenomenon is the needles proximity and the vascular access dysfunction, being the stenosis venous the most characteristic form. KDOQI guides recommend that the recirculation measurement does not have to exceed 10%. The objective in this word is the compare recirculation rate by on-line urea measuring in blood by using optical sensor versus estimation the laboratory techniques (two needles technical) in the temporary and permanent vascular accesses (Mahurkar catheter and venous artery fistula) were evaluated in patients the hemodialysis program in Military Hospital Center in Mexico.
