摘要

Zeolite is a new-style environmental friendly material, which has the property of absorbency, ion exchange, catalysis, acid-resistant, and thermal-steady, it also could be used in the water treatment of removal ammonia nitrogen, organic compound, heavy metal, fluorides, phosphorus and oxyacid anion. Furthermore it can't make secondary pollution in working and treatment process. In this paper, the structure and performance of zeolite were particularly introduced, and the applications of it in water treatment were summarized, then some problems existed in application were analyzed, at last have a deep prospect at the future directions of biological f'dtering medial at zeolite.
