In this area of expertise, there were many attempts to find one single definition regarding the concept of Deviance, but this approach was found to be unrealistic. Deviance is presented as a non-compliant mood, an attitude that manifests itself against the norms of a society and which is often sanctioned by the society members. A deviant behaviour is an 'atypical' behaviour, which does nothing but to deviate from the standard position and which violates social norms recognized and accepted within a society.A drug addict's behaviour joins very well with the deviant behaviours, because it manifests itself against the rules imposed by the society. It is an inappropriate behaviour for a normal life of a man, it cannot be seen as a common behaviour that doesn't affect the world around the drug addict. A drug addict represents many dangers and according to these he will be punished, but there is the possibility of saving such a person, only if he wants to cure himself.
