摘要

This paper presents both theoretical references and relevant information from the psychological interview, the personality and behavior of the young drug user, but also through the analysis of the social environment. The research aimed at capturing the relationship between maladaptive cognitive style, automatic negative thoughts, hopelessness, cognitive maladaptive schemas and the personality of the drug user.The present research results come from the history of the drug user, psychological interview, Freiburg Personality Inventory (FPI) and Young Cognitive Schemes Questionnaire - short form 3 (YSQ-S3). Cognitive schemas are deep structures that are dormant and are reactivated in specific situations, being overall vulnerability factors when they are dysfunctional.When cognitive schemes resulting from negative childhood experiences underlie the emergence and maintenance of problem behaviors (including addictions), we talk about "early maladaptive schemas".They are deep structures, stable and persistent, consisting of emotions, memories, cognitions and bodily sensations on self and the relationships with others. Although it is difficult to change them because they are seen, by the young consumer, as absolute truths, undeniable and put in function various mechanisms to consolidate and perpetuate them, their knowledge is a first step in the rehabilitation of drug users.
