Through field sampling, laboratory tests and comparative analysis to relevant national standards, the research of the influence of the heavy metals in fly ash, which was stored for 1 year and 10 years, to soil and plant around the fly ash yard was done. The research result show that: the influence of Da Tun power plant fly ash to pH and heavy metals in soil was not obviously. The content of heavy metals in soil was even higher than fly ash; The content of heavy metals in root, stem and leaf, fruit of the plant which was grown on fly ash was decreasing, and the content was all lower than the limit value which was regulated in relevant national standards. The influence of the Da Tun power plant fly ash to soil and plant around the fly ash yard was low.
