Occupational Exposure to Agrochemicals: A Literature Review

摘要

The use of agrochemicals plays an important role in the control of fungi, insects and weeds in agriculture and livestock, as well as in the control of infectious diseases. The aim of the study was to analyze the scientific production in the period from 2007 to 2017 regarding the health risks of professionals exposed to agrochemicals in the work environment. A search was conducted in the Portal of Periodicals CAPES-MEC by the library of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul, in national and international journals in the Portuguese, English and Spanish languages. We found 72 complete articles that after systematic reading and exclusion of the duplicates we reached the number of 16 articles that were pertinent on the subject studied. This study revealed that there is little research production on the subject matter and that most of them are concentrated in the developing countries, since it is the localities that use these products mainly in agriculture.
