Signal Transducers and Activators of Transcription 3 (STAT3) is an important transcription factor in cells, which can be phosphorylated and activated by its most common upstream kinase, JAK kinase in vivo. It is well known that abnormally activated STAT3 promotes tumorigenesis and development of tumors. Therefore, the authors collected research and clinical studies on inhibitors targeting JAK / STAT3 signaling pathways reported in recent literature. The progress of the experiment is summarized in the target, mechanism of action and pharmacodynamic activity that have been reported for some inhibitors.
