Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) were fed in two periods 16 diets with a combination of four digestible protein levels (DP, %) and four digestible energy levels (DE, MJ/kg) in a 4x4 experimental design. For the first period DP (%) levels ranged from 29.3to 36.5% while DE (MJ/kg) ranged from 18.7 to 22.6 MJ/kg. Fish grew in average for all the treatments from 0.93±0.06kg to 2.49 ± 0.12kg. During the second period DP (%) levels ranged from 28 to 34.5% and DE (MJj/kg) ranged from 19.3 to 23.3 MJ/kg, atthe end of this period fish were harvested at an average weight of 4.88 ± 0.30kg. Feeding regime was to satiation in both periods.
