Personalised medicine is a highly promising emerging field of medicine that uses an individual's genetic profile to guide decisions about the most effective treatment of illnesses and conditions, using molecular diagnostics, sometimes in combination with other diagnostic methods, to determine prognosis and the most effective intervention. However, despite validated genetic information and methods of analysis being available there are, as yet, few companies offering personalised tests. HEALI is a new personalised medicine company whose aim is to improve medical decision making for treatment of a range of life changing illnesses and conditions.
