摘要

Quasicrystals have a more complex structure than crystals, and contain various features not present inthe crystal, which gives a good prospect in the field of catalysis[1]. The activity of the metallic catalyst has aconsiderable relationship with its composition, surface morphology and crystal structure. Therefore, we comparethe quasicrystal and the crystal in terms of leaching process and catalytic activity. In this study, evolution ofstructures for Al63Cu25Fe12 quasicrystal and Al70Cu20Fe10 crystal along with leaching time was studied andcatalytic activity at each stage was measured for comparison.
