The river lller can be categorized as significantly modified due to the construction of multiple hydraulic structures. As a consequence of ongoing river deepening processes and a possible drop of the groundwater table ramps and weirs were implemented during the last decades. However, from an evaluation of existing survey data, river sections with still ongoing erosion trends were identified. One of these river reaches is located between km 14.6 and 9.2. Within this section river training structures have been implemented (km 14.6-13.6) over the last couple of years. In addition, further implementations (km 13.6-9.3) will be performed during the next years to stop the progressive erosion tendency.
