摘要

In automobile industry, regulation is very binding, especially regarding environment. Greenhouse gas emissions of vehicles should be lowered and recyclability increased. By using natural fibres having lower density than aluminium or glass fibres, a gain in weight and as a consequence in CO_2 emissions can be made. Biocomposites have also assets to put forward like dampening, insulation properties. In this paper, two projects using natural fibres for structural and semi-structural automobile parts are described. Last but not least, a project of development of car frame with biocomposite panels for an electric vehicle is presented.
