Sleep is natural process in all living beings for its internal and external growth of body. A complete sleep makes human being fresh and energetic. Improper and inadequate amount of sleep gives invitation to diseases like breast cancer, stress, depression, Obesity and thought of ending life. Sleep clinics and smart wearable commercial devices are available for sleep monitoring to live healthy life. Polysomnography (PSG) is standard method for sleep analysis, treatment and monitoring. This standard treatment measures all physiological parameters of body like oxygen saturation level, heart beats, eye movement and muscles movements. It is possible only in hospitals under the guidance of expert doctors that's why it is very costly and cannot be affordable by economy class. On the other hand information obtained from commercial sleep monitors are not directly used by doctors for further treatment. There is a genuine need todevelop a unique unobtrusive Intelligent Sleep Monitoring (ISM) method based on parameter optimization for user's ease. The method works with the optimization of recorded data from physiological sensors for analysis of sleep quality from eye movement, heart rate and Electroencephalograph (EEG) of user using a limited set of connections attached to the diagnosed person. The method proposed is different from the conventional bulky PSG based sleep monitoring device used in hospitals and gives an intelligent sleep monitor for easy-to-use by a normal person to monitor quality of sleep at home in reasonable cost. Sleep is a kind of brain activity, the system develop will be based on optimize EEG and sensor data which directly provides result for quality of sleep. It will be useful for monitoring daily sleep pattern as a substitute for PSG system.
