摘要

The objective of this study is to provide a protocol for the implementation of the international standard ISO 14001 and the European scheme EMAS applicable directly in the companies. The scheme attached in Figure 1 is proposed as an example of how this can be achieved. A set of Tables (1-11) was prepared as a tool to follow the requirements and organise the important steps of EMS related information. In addition, a set of Forms (1-11), Modules and other documentation was realised with the aim to guide the companies through the main steps of the EMS implementation, and particularly in the use of the Tables. This methodology is under revision within the pilot project "ECOPORT - Analysis of the training on environmental issues in companies operating in port areas", funded by the European Commission (DGXXll Leonardo Programme). The attached scheme summarises the main phases of the project. This project has involved 10 companies in the Genoa Port and 8 companies in the Savona port, where the methodology was presented and applied; the Nanthes Port Authority (480 employees) and the Southampton port were also involved, the latter for a modelling application of the methodology.
