摘要

A proper transient two-dimensional model is presented in this paper in accordance with the characteristics of binary alloy HgCdTe growth by the vertical Bridgman method. The effects of gravitational acceleration on heat, mass transfer and melt flow are analyzed numerically in details. Simulation results show that the concentration field is greatly improved with decreasing the intensity of melt flow though the temperature distribution has slight change at the same time.
