摘要

The effects of a pandemic affect several areas of human activity. One of the key areas is production, which immediately reflects on economic growth. Through the years, theoretical and sound models have independently been produced to analyze these phenomena (disease spreading and economic dynamics) in isolation. For a holistic understanding, an exchange of information between these different models is desired. Multi-Perspective Modeling and Holistic Simulation address this issue. Integrators between models from different perspectives are used to achieve dynamic communication between them. Reusing the well-established SIR model to describe the spread of the disease and the well-known Prey-Predator model to define the relationship between the employment and wage rates, we show how such an approach allows exploring the impact of one phenomenon on the other, and therefore cuts the effort of building an overall understanding of complex systems.
