In order to overcome the errors in variable section bridge modeling and improve the accuracy of variable section bridge modeling, this paper proposes a novel application system of variable section bridge modeling with generator as the core. This construction method uses the design tool Dynamo, which has multiple advantages, such as low cost of investment, fast modeling, data parameterization, etc., and, more importantly, it has strong compatibility for the modeling of heteromorphic structures. In addition, this construction method also takes a city's overpass as the research object of this case. Through the analysis and study of generator function, the application of generator is introduced in the process of variable section bridge modeling. The research results show that this construction method can scientifically and effectively reduce the errors in the modeling process of variable cross-section bridges, and then greatly improve the accuracy of variable cross-section bridge modeling.
