摘要

This study applies cultivation theory, social cognitive theory and problem-behavior theory as theoretical bases for the research model. A total of 470 valid questionnaires in the study. Both Cronbach’s alpha and composite reliability were greater than the value of .70 and the item-to-total correlation coefficient was greater than the value of .50 for each construct. The research result showed that the more teenagers were exposed to TV violence, the more likely it was for them to develop violent tendencies. Furthermore, teenagers’ experience of violence in the past would also positively influence their violent tendencies.
