摘要

So far, integration of results from all tasks within individual WPs and from all scientific WPs lead to deliver, for each test site, established microbial consortia that are provided to WP2 to be tested in pot experiments in association with one selected plant species, originating from the corresponding remediation site. The pot experiments are aimed to establish a microbial assisted phytoremediation process, for the remediation of soils influenced by mining activities. These consortia, together with the correspondent selected botanic species, will contribute to the creation of a tool-box to provide new tools for new approaches to remediation of soils influenced by mining activities. Field trials involving stake-holders are in progress in each site.
