Real time simulations for the integration ofrnUAVs into non-segregrated airspace were carriedrnout using DLR's air traffic simulator withrnair traffic controllers and UAV pilots. Thernworkload for the controllers increased slightlyrnin the beginning, however, it could be demonstrated,rnthat UAVs can be integraded into airspacerneasily if they operate according the rulesrnfor manned aircraft.
