Effects of unloading and reloading on the expressionrnlevels of tripartite motif-containing 72 (TRIM72) andrncaveolin-3 (Cav-3) of soleus muscle in mice wererninvestigated. Male C57BL/6J mice (11-week old) werernrandomly assigned to control and hindlimb-suspendedrngroups. Some of mice in hindlimb-suspended group werernsubjected to continuous hindlimb suspension (HS) for 2rnweeks with or without 7 days of ambulation recovery.rnFollowing HS, the muscle weight and protein expressionrnlevels of TRIM72 and Cav-3 in soleus were decreased.rnOn the other hand, the gradual increases in muscle mass,rnTRIM72 and Cav-3 were observed after reloadingrnfollowing HS. Therefore, it was suggested thatrnmechanical loading played a key role in a regulatoryrnsystem for protein expressions of TRIM72 and Cav-3.
