There are many operating HPGR in various industries around the world. Some are very similar to the material characteristics seen in the gold industry. The experiences learned in these various hard rock applications have helped in educating the design requirements necessary for the first gold mine application. The continued testing of material samples of different gold ores along with submitting proposals for industrial units to various clients who are considering this application will only strengthen the future of this tool. Additionally, pilot testing machines are available to on-site test the various ores. All of these tools and capabilities will only enhance the opportunity and design of the next industrial size unit in the industries.
