Robotics has already been greatly developed and widely used in various fields. Urged by investigation and application, research of multi-robot system has received more and more attention, and it is gradually becoming an active field full of challenge. More and more aspects of multi-robot systems are being explored. There are many articles about this area and each addresses more than one of these aspects. This article is far from exhaustive, here, we identifies five primary research topics within multi robot systems: Communication; Architecture; Cooperation models and task allocation; Localization, mapping and exploration; Motion coordination.
