摘要

Shower head cooling is one of the most efficient cooling techiques for gas turbine bladings.Density effects have to e taken into account analyzing the corresponding film-cooling phenomena.They occur due to the temperature ratio between the hot gas and the cooling gas.unfortunately,experimentla investigations with realistic temperatue ratios are extremely expensive.thus,CO_2 is used as cooling gas in the experimental part of the present investigation in the cold air test turbine of the Institute of Sfteam and Gas Turbines which is equiped with a modern shower head cooled first stage guide vane.This allows to have ralistic density ratios of about 0.5 between the main flow and the cooling gas.
