摘要

The main purposes of this study will provide insights for Taiwan government about the current status and future trend of the computerization of vocational high school administration with regard to hardware, software, and executive difficulty and the curricular needs of staff training for computerized administration. Furthermore, this study will also help to improve the procedure of administration and promote the quality of administration and learning.;Major findings of the study were: (1) The most difficult problem for administration of school administration is that most staff members have no background on how to use computers and they worry that the use of computers in school administration will result in lost jobs. Thus, they fear using it and try to resist using it. (2) The longer time for vocational high schools' using computers in school administration, the higher positive correlation between the degree of computerization and the degree of administrators' satisfaction with computerization. (3) More students, having administrative computer center, and longer time for vocational high schools' using computer in school administration were associated with the higher degree of administrators' satisfaction with computerization of school administration.
