Objective To explore quality control circles quality improvement method in reducing the role of ooze urine incidence of placing a urinary catheter. Methods Set up quality control circles, using quality management way to manage patients with in-dwelling catheter. Results After the implementation of quality management circle activity, the incidence of ooze urine from activi-ties before placing a urinary catheter in patients with 21.9% reduced to 9.3% after the activity, statistically significant difference (P<0.01); Circle member's enthusiasm, confidence, responsibility, problem solving skills, communication and coordination ability, cohesion, the technique of individual potential, quality management is improved obviously. Conclusion To carry out quality control circle activities, not only reduces the incidence of urine, placing a urinary catheter is to improve the overall quality of circle member.%目的：探索品管圈质量改进方法在降低留置尿管渗尿发生率中的作用效果。方法成立品管圈，运用品质管理手法管理留置导尿患者。结果实施品管圈活动后，患者留置尿管渗尿发生率从活动前的21.9%降至活动后的9.3%，差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)；圈员的积极性、责任心、解决问题能力、沟通协调能力、凝聚力、个人潜能、自信心、品管手法均较改进前明显提高。结论开展品管圈活动，不仅降低了留置尿管渗尿发生率，还提高了圈员的整体素质。
