Objective To observe the effect of Qianlie Shutong Capsule combined with phenoxybenzamine in treating the elderly patients with prostatic hyperplasia. Methods 147 patients with elderly benign prostatic hyperplasia admitted to our hospital from 2011 to 2014 were selected and divided into the control group ( 73 cases ) and the treatment group ( 74 cases ) according to the random number table method. The control group was given Phenoxybenzamine Hydrochloric Tablet, on this basis,the treatment group was added Qianlie Shutong Capsule. The two groups were all treated for 4 weeks. The effects were compared between the two groups. Results The maxi-mum urinary flow rate, residual urine and international prostate symptom,score ( IPSS ) after treatment in the two groups were improved in varying degrees, but the treatment group was more obvious than the control group ( P<0. 01 ); the prostate volume and blood pressure had no obvious change before and after treatment in the two groups. Conclusion Qianlie Shutong Capsule combined with phenoxyben-zamine has more effect in treating elderly patients with prostatic hyperplasia, which can obviously improve the patient's maximum urinary flow rate, residual urine and IPSS.%目的：观察前列舒通胶囊联合酚苄明对老年良性前列腺增生患者的疗效。方法选取2011年至2014年医院收治的147例老年良性前列腺增生患者，按照随机数表法分为对照组（73例）和治疗组（74例）。对照组给予盐酸酚苄明片治疗，治疗组加用前列舒通胶囊，均治疗4周，对比两组患者的疗效。结果治疗后两组患者的最大尿流率、残余尿和国际前列腺症状评分( IPSS )均有不同程度改善，但治疗组改善更明显（ P＜0.01）；两组患者的前列腺体积及血压治疗前后均无明显变化。结论前列舒通胶囊联合酚苄明对老年前列腺增生患者的疗效更加明显，可明显改善患者的最大尿流率、残余尿和IPSS评分。
