OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical efficacy of pidotimod in the treatment of pediatric acute suppurative tonsillitis.METHODS: 183 children aged 3～14 years with acute suppurative tonsillitis were randomly divided into group A and group B.92 cases in group A and 91 cases in group B were additionally received Pidotimod tablets and Levamisole tablets respectively on the basis of conventional treatment.The duration of symptom improvement, therapeutic efficacy and the times and duration of respiratory infection in observation stage after drug withdrawal were compared between two groups.RESULTS: The duration of symptom improvement and total effective rate of group A (86.96％) were significantly better than those of group B (76.92％).The times and duration of infection of group A in observation stage were obviously lower than in group B, there were significant differences (P＜0.05 or P＜0.01 ).CONCLUSIONS: For pediatric acute suppurative tonsillitis, pidotimod can shorten the duration of symptom improvement and improve effective rate.%目的:观察匹多莫德治疗儿童急性化脓性扁桃体炎的疗效.方法:183例3～14岁急性化脓性扁桃体炎患儿随机分为A组与B组.A组(92例)在常规治疗基础上加用匹多莫德片,B组(91例)在常规治疗基础上加用左旋咪唑片.比较2组患儿急性期主要症状好转时间、治疗效果和停止用药后的观察期内呼吸道感染的次数和持续时间.结果:A组症状好转时间和总有效率(86.96%)明显优于B组(76.92%),观察期内感染次数和持续时间明显少于B组.差异有统计学意义(P＜0.05或P＜0.01).结论:匹多莫德治疗儿童急性化脓性扁桃体炎,能缩短症状好转时间,提高治疗有效率.
