Purpose To investigate the expression of 6 individual miRNAs and their significance in prostate cancer, and to discuss their use for the diagnosis of prostate cancer. Methods In situ hybridization staining combined with tissue microarray technology for 6 miRNAs was performed in 38 samples of benign prostate hyperplasia and 52 samples of prostate cancer. Results The expression of all 6 miRNAs showed a significant difference between the prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues ( P 0. 05 ). On the otherhand, the expression of miR-15b , miR-182 and miR-96 correlated with tumor clinical stage ( P 0.05).miR-15b、miR-182和miR-96的表达与PCa的临床分期相关(P<0.05);miR-96的表达与肿瘤累及前列腺叶数相关(P<0.05).结论 miRNAs与PCa的发生、发展以及生物学行为有关,并可能作为PCa诊断及判断预后的生物标记物.
