Objective:To evaluate the effects of pelvic autonomic nerve preservation ( PANP) in radical resection of rectal carcinoma on the sexual and urinary functions of male patients. Methods: The sexual and urinary dysfunctions rate of 90 male patient who with PANP or without PANP in radical resection of rectal carcinoma were analyzed. Results: The erectile dysfunction rates were 26. 7% and 57. 8% , the ejaculatory dysfunction rates were 24. 5% and 60. 0% , the urinary dysfunction rates were 28.9% and 62.2% in PANP group (45 cases) and without PANP group (45 cases),respectively, all P<0. 01. Conclusions: The rate of sexual and urinary dysfunctions could be signficantaly reduced by PANP in radical resection of male patients with rectal carcinoma.%目的:探讨保留盆腔自主神经(PANP)的直肠癌根治术对男性患者术后性功能及排尿功能的影响.方法:比较男性直肠癌根治术保留盆腔自主神经患者和不保留自主神经患者术后性功能和排尿障碍的发生率.结果:45例保留自主神经患者勃起障碍发生率为26.7％,射精障碍发生率为24.5％,排尿障碍发生率为28.9％；45例不保留自主神经患者勃起障碍发生率为57.8％,射精障碍发生率为60.0％,排尿障碍发生率为62.2％；2组比较差异均有统计学意义(P＜0.01).结论:保留男性盆腔自主神经的直肠癌根治术能有效降低术后性功能障碍和排尿功能障碍发生率.
