How to apply the XTCE in a satellite mission and how to create a XTCE file were presented. The application of XTCE design based on data model in project shows that XTCE unites the data exchange format in the satellite mission and provides a much more effective method for satellite data exchange and processing during the development, test, control and administration of space mission. It can not only improve the efficiency and reliability of satellite development, but also drastically reduce mission costs.
