A worldwide poly(phenylene ether) synthesizing process patents in the past 50 years was thoroughly retrieved, based on which,a holistic patent analysis,a globle technology trend analysis in the nearly 20 years,and an essential patent analysis were carried out. The results show that General Electric company and Asahi Kasei corporation take the absolute advantage position in the number of patents,and the R&D focus of poly(phenylene ether) has substantially transferred to post-treatment process and other aspects of products,however,the patent application peaking period of poly(phenylene ether) has past gone. Poly(phenylene ether) synthesizing is a mature technology and a considerable number of patented technologies can be directly used.%全面检索了全球范围内50年来合成聚苯醚的专利，在此基础上进行了专利全局分析、近20年全球技术趋势分析、核心专利分析。分析结果表明，通用电气公司和旭化成株式会社的专利数量占据绝对优势，其研发重点大致转移到产物后处理工艺等方面，该领域的专利申请高峰期已过，是一项成熟的技术，相当多的专利技术可直接使用。
