Objective:To probe into prescriptions with off-label drug application in elderly patients,so as to provide reference for rational drug application in clinic METHODS: 4 800 prescriptions of 3377 elderly patients with different ages in Zhanjiang Central People's Hospital from Aug.2016 to Jan.2017 were randomly extracted and analyzed retrospectively,included 28 800 medical orders.RESULTS: There were 56 prescriptions(accounted for 1.17％of total prescriptions)and 933 medical orders(accounted for 3.24％of total medical orders)of off-label drug application,with no statistical differences in different departments(P>0.05);the constituent ratio of prescriptions and medical orders of off-indication drug application was significantly higher than that of other types of off-indication drug application,with statistically significant difference(P80-95 years was significantly higher than that of patients aged 60-70 years and >70-80 years,with statistically significant difference(P0.05);超适应证用药的处方及医嘱的构成比明显高于其他超说明书用药类型,差异均有统计学意义(P80～95岁患者处方超说明书用药病例数占该年龄段总病例数的比例明显高于60～70、>70～80岁患者,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05).结论:临床上存在对老年患者超说明书用药的现象.医院相关职能部门应与临床科室合作,提高老年患者用药安全性.
