针对冶金生产过程具有温度高、危险性大、操作环境恶劣,传统的理论教学与实验手段难以提高学生的实践动手能力和创新思维能力的现状,桂林理工大学以冶金工程虚拟实验教学中心为平台,结合可视化技术、虚拟现实等技术,在教学中通过探索和改进产品的结构与外观,尝试不同工艺组合及革新,鼓励学生"大胆创新、允许失败"着手,理论联系实际,进行实验教学改革创新研究,为培养学生的创新思维能力、创新行为习惯、新技术及新产品创新能力方面打下良好的基础,为冶金工程专业的创新教学探索了一条新的路径.%In view of the characteristics of metallurgical production process with high temperature, high risk, poor operating environment, it is difficult to improve students' practical innovative ability by traditional theoretical teaching and experiment methods. Guilin University of Technology explores a new way to improve the innovative ability of student depend on the metallurgical engineering virtual experiment center. According to the new teaching platform, visualization technology and virtual reality technology are used to explore and improve the product structure and appearance, the different technology combination and innovation program can be implemented, and students are encouraged to "innovate boldly, accept failure". In the new teaching process the students could learn to solve problem by theory contacting business practice, and the innovative thinking ability, innovative behavior habits, innovation ability with new technology and new product development were improvedsignificantly, which providing a new path for exploring the innovative teaching in metallurgical engineering.
