A comprehensive experiment: synthesis of copper glutamate and its crystal structure was introduced. The single crystal of copper glutamate was synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction with glutamic acid and cupric subcarbonate as raw materials. X ray single crystal diffraction was carried out on the single crystal, and analysis of crystal structure indicated that the crystal belonged to the orthogonal system with space group P212121, and its crystal structure was analyzed. The raw material of this experiment was nontoxic or low toxic. The synthetic method was simple and the synthetic condition was broad.
