Objective To observe the effects of participatory teaching methods (PTM) for international medi-cal interns undertaking orthopaedics clinical probation. Methods Fifty case international medical interns were selected for PTM as case group and 48 international medical interns were teached by traditional teaching methods (TTM) as con-trol group. Examinations and questionnaire were used to evaluate the effects of the two methods. Results There was no significantly difference of theoretical examination scores between group [(31.25 ± 4.84)] and control group [(30.97 ± 5.65)].The scores of clinical skills and total scores of group were respectively (47.62 ± 3.41) and (78.82 ± 4.37), which were significantly better than that of the control group of (45.32 ± 4.62), (76.29 ± 5.28), P<0.05. In addition, the result of questionnaire survey group was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion PTM was benefit to enhance the ability of international medical interns during orthopaedics clinical probation, and improve the quality of clinical teaching as well.%目的:观察参与式教学法对医学留学生骨科临床见习教学效果的影响。
