This paper, from the sports study, sports consumption, examination and after-school life of Xinzhou Teachers College Sports professional students, investigates herd mentality. The results show that college students majoring in Physical Education in sports learning, sports consumption, examination and after-school life aspects have the common herd phenomenon. At present, we need to analyze the psychological characteristics of college students, especially physical education students in Colleges and universities, and put forward practical solutions to overcome their psychological barriers. Herd mentality is a double-edged sword. Hence, we should play a positive role in college students’ psychology, at the same time, inhibit the negative effects of herd mentality of contemporary college students, which can guide students to have healthy psychological mechanism.%从体育学习、体育消费、考试以及课余生活方面对忻州师范学院体育专业大学生进行从众心理的调查，结果表明体育专业大学生在这几方面均有着普遍的从众现象。对体育专业大学生的心理特征进行分析研究，提出克服他们心理障碍的切实可行的方案，既要发挥从众心理在大学生中的积极作用，同时又要抑制它对当代大学生的负面影响，实现引导大学生拥有健康心理机制的目标。
