In order to to solve the problems in current teaching of College English,this essay analyzes the significance and feasibility of the introduction of the teaching of English and American literature.In addition,it presents relevant reformatory ideas,implementing ways and suggestions,which are beneficial to the improvement of the teaching effi-ciency of College English as well as the promotion of quality education.%针对目前大学英语教学中存在的问题，对大学英语教学中引入英美文学教学的现实意义、可行性进行分析，并提出改革思路、实现途径、方法建议，为提高大学英语教学效果、全面推进素质教育提供有益尝试。
