This paper summarizes the series of research findings of WHIRLY2 in plants and combined with the research experiences. We focus on the description of progress of WHIRLY2 in the regulation of plant leaf senescence,pollen tube vitality and fruit devel-opment and so on. We hope that this work provides basis for further functional studies of WHIRLY2 protein in plants.%本文综述了近年来植物中WHIRLY2蛋白的研究成果,并结合研究与实践,重点阐述了WHIRLY2在调控植物叶片衰老、花粉管活力以及角果发育等方面的一些进展,以期为植物中WHIRLY2蛋白的功能研究提供依据.
