Based on the recent launch of drafting of national guidelines for the use of English in public service informa-tion, this article elaborates on the similarities and differences in the regional guidelines for such context and put forth sugges-tive ideas for the drafting of the national guidelines. It is argued that the drafting of national standards on the use of English in public service information is of great significance to the country’s reform and opening up. This marks a new phase in the study of C-E translation of public service information.% 本文以《公共服务领域外文译写规范•英文》国家标准研制工作的启动为契机，对迄今为止已出台的若干汉英双语标识规范地方标准进行了归纳总结和分析比较，指出了它们之间的异同以及存在的一些问题，旨在对进行中的国家标准研制提供建设性参考意见。建立全国统一的标准，规范我国公共服务领域的外文译写促进我国对外开放的现实需求十分迫切，意义重大。与此同时，公共服务领域外文译写的国家标准研制的启动标志着我国公示语翻译研究进入了一个新的发展阶段和高度。
